In the middle of the winter this video installation was installed in the window of an artist run gallery in a social housing estate in the ooutskirts of the Swedish town Lund. The video projection showed autumn-colored trees. From the side a woman entered and began cleaning the window that appeared between the woman and the trees. She was situated with her back turned to the spectator. Rhythmically she washed and polished the window. She then left the room.

The woman was situated in an emerged in-between space between the actual window surface of the building and the window she was placed in front of. It was an impossible situation. But nevertheless the woman continued her chores…
